This paper is a follow-up to the award winning “Information Terrorism: Can You Trust Your Toaster?”. It examines some of issues surrounding the U.S. capability to respond to attacks against its critical infrastructures and recommends that valuable lessons can be extracted from our thirty year history of combating terrorism.
