There are several articles of interest appearing in the press this weekend. This article in the Washington Post describes an FBI report which indicates the FBI has evidence that religious extremists, racists, cults and other groups are planning millennial violence. This article discusses how the West Nile virus outbreak in New York, serves as a model for a biological attack. While it has been widely reported that bin Laden wishes to leave Afghanistan, this report places him in Farmada, about 45 miles from the Pakistan border. On another note, this article discusses the background of the new U.S. “terrorism czar”.
