Research, Development and Planning

Since 1996, the Terrorism Research Center's Special Projects Office has been an incubator for programs and concepts that have helped improve U.S. homeland security. Our Research, Development, and Planning division is the focal point for these initiatives.

A sampling of our Research, Development and Planning projects demonstrates the breadth and depth of our capabilities. Our experience and capabilities can be translated to solutions that meet your agency or local jurisdiction's requirements. For example, our experience establishing Terrorism Early Warning groups, coupled with our own Intelligence and Analysis products can help you establish a terrorism intelligence or intelligence fusion capability. Alternatively, our work on the Responder Knowledge Base and Project Responder can be utilized to help your department plan and acquire the equipment it needs to address emerging threats in an all-hazards environment.
